Week 18, 2025
Song of the week:
Top of mind
Last week was the first week in a long time I missed posting here. Not because of any dramatic events. Nope, just wound up busy and/or relaxed enough that it didn't warrant it. We have a family vacation place on the south coast of the country and wound up there, chilling out and enjoying the glimpse of sunshine before returning home where I had a stress-filled week that warranted a late post impossible.
As a result, there are a lot of tabs below, because it's effectively a store of 2 weeks worth of random tabs I held over.
I'm spending a lot of time away from home in May, which I will rectify in... July. I'm in San Fran next week, then a quick 1-day job in Paris the week after, followed by NYC the week after that. Then somewhere in mid-June I'm in Cannes for the annual Lions festival and from there, I have a light travel schedule (for now).
Last week, $wife was away for work. And it's funny how her being away for a few days results in good, but tiring solo time with the kids. And when she returns it's a big, dramatic deal. But because I go away regularly, it's less dramatic.
